I have gambled on countless of rounds of 21. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent a lot of bankroll at blackjack. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this tactic or beat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very fun sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you see wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $5 bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 wager
Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 wager
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
