I have wagered on countless of hands of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years back with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a number of days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Wager five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first one hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
