I have played millions of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or beat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a few years back with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you see playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
